Most candidates spend weeks on reasoning practice and zero minutes learning the testing environment itself. Then they lose marks to a webcam check, a forbidden notepad, or a calculator they never knew existed. Here's everything the environment side demands and offers — so test day holds no surprises.

EPSO's remote tests run on the TAO platform with Proctorio remote proctoring (some procedures use TestWe instead — your invitation tells you which). The requirements that trip people up, per EPSO's published testing information:

Administrator rights on your machine — usually impossible on a corporate laptop. If your only computer is a work device, solve this now, not the night before. Windows 10+ or macOS 10.15+, Chrome or Edge, a device less than ~10 years old. Phones and tablets are not supported. Working camera and microphone, stable internet, no active VPN, antivirus/firewall disabled for the session. A technical prerequisite check to complete before a deadline — miss it and you have a problem no reasoning skill can fix.
